How Vehicle Transport Works

Buying a car at distance or selling one to a buyer across the country? Here is how a planned vehicle movement actually runs.

You provide collection and delivery postcodes, the vehicle details, whether it runs and a rough date. That is enough to price the movement accurately.

Booking and contacts

Once agreed, we need a contact at both ends — the person handing the vehicle over and the person receiving it. Keys, documents and any access codes should be arranged in advance.

Collection

The vehicle is inspected and photographed before loading so its condition is recorded, then loaded onto a flatbed and secured. On a planned job this typically takes fifteen to twenty minutes.

Delivery

The vehicle is unloaded at the destination and handed to the named contact. If nobody can be present, tell us in advance so an alternative can be agreed rather than discovered on the day.
